MKKDeezigns Custom Order Policy

MKKDeezigns specializes in creating personalized products designed around your ideas, celebrations, events, and special occasions. Because custom orders require individual design work, communication, approval, and production, they follow different procedures from standard ready-to-purchase merchandise.

By submitting and proceeding with a custom order, you acknowledge and agree to the following Custom Order Policy.

1. Order Classifications

Custom orders are classified according to quantity and complexity.

Small Orders

A Small Order consists of one product type with no more than four (4) individual items.

Examples include:

• 3 custom cups
• 2 custom keychains
• 4 custom shirts
• 2 custom license plates

Small Orders must be placed at least 2 weeks before the date needed.

Once all required information, images, personalization details, designs, and approvals have been received, standard processing time is approximately 5–10 business days.

Bulk Quantity Orders

A Bulk Quantity Order consists of five (5) or more of the same product type.

Orders of 5–9 of a single item should be placed at least 2 weeks in advance.

Orders of 10 or more of a single item must be placed at least 4 weeks in advance and may require a 25% deposit, depending on the size and production requirements of the order.

Processing times for Bulk Quantity Orders may vary based on quantity, materials, customization, and production requirements.

Large & Multi-Element Custom Orders

A Large Custom Order includes an order containing multiple coordinated products, designs, or party-favor elements.

For example, a coordinated party package containing:

Custom chip bags + juice labels + custom cups + another matching favor element

would be considered a Large Custom Order.

Large Custom Orders must be placed at least 4 weeks before the date needed.

Once all information, images, designs, and approvals have been received, standard processing time is approximately 7–14 business days.

Large Custom Orders require a 25% deposit, with the remaining 75% balance due upon completion.

2. Custom Order Request

Submitting a Custom Order Request allows MKKDeezigns to review your project and determine availability, pricing, materials, production requirements, and estimated completion time.

Submitting a Custom Order Request does not automatically confirm or reserve an order.

Your order is considered accepted only after MKKDeezigns has reviewed the request and communicated acceptance and any required payment or deposit instructions.

3. 48-Hour Information Requirement

Customers must provide all requested customization information immediately after submitting the Custom Order Request and no later than 48 hours afterward.

Depending on the order, this may include:

• Names and spelling
• Dates and numbers
• Photographs
• Logos
• Wording
• Colors
• Themes
• Sizes
• Quantities
• Design inspiration
• Personalization details
• Event date
• Other requested information or files

Failure to provide the required information within 48 hours may delay your project and affect your requested completion date.

MKKDeezigns cannot be responsible for missed deadlines caused by delays in receiving required customer information.

4. When Processing Time Begins

Processing time does not begin simply because a Custom Order Request has been submitted or a payment has been made.

Your processing timeframe begins after:

1. All required customization information has been received;
2. All required photographs, logos, wording, and other materials have been received;
3. Any necessary design work or proofs have been completed; and
4. The customer has provided final approval when approval is required.

For example, if an order is submitted on Monday but the required photographs or design approval are not received until Friday, the applicable processing period begins after the outstanding requirements have been completed—not on Monday.

5. Design Proofs & Approval

When MKKDeezigns provides a design proof, customers are responsible for reviewing it carefully.

Before approving your design, please verify:

• Spelling
• Names
• Dates
• Numbers
• Colors
• Photographs
• Wording
• Product details
• Placement
• Personalization

Your approval authorizes MKKDeezigns to proceed with production based on the approved design.

Once final approval has been given and production has begun, changes are not guaranteed.

If a requested change can still be accommodated, additional design fees, material costs, or processing time may apply.

MKKDeezigns is not responsible for an error that appears exactly as it was submitted and subsequently approved by the customer.

6. Deposits for Large Custom Orders

Large Custom Orders require a 25% deposit of the total order amount before the project can move forward.

The remaining 75% balance is due upon completion.

Completed merchandise will not be released for pickup or shipment until the remaining balance has been paid in full.

Orders of 10 or more of the same item may also require a 25% deposit depending on the scope of the project. Any deposit requirement will be communicated before the order is finalized.

Once custom design work, materials purchasing, or production has begun, deposits may become non-refundable because expenses have already been incurred specifically for your order.

7. Event Dates & Advance Ordering

Customers are responsible for placing orders early enough to meet the minimum advance-order requirements.

Small Orders: Minimum 2 weeks in advance

5–9 of the same item: Minimum 2 weeks in advance

10+ of the same item: Minimum 4 weeks in advance

Large/Multi-Element Custom Orders: Minimum 4 weeks in advance

If your order is for a birthday, wedding, graduation, memorial, baby shower, business event, holiday, party, or another date-specific occasion, please provide the actual event date when submitting your request.

Meeting the minimum advance-order requirement does not automatically guarantee availability for a specific date.

8. Rush Orders

Orders submitted with less than the required advance notice may be considered a Rush Order.

Rush orders are accepted only when MKKDeezigns has the availability and production capacity to accommodate them.

An additional rush fee may apply.

Acceptance of rush orders is not guaranteed.

Rush fees may become non-refundable once expedited design or production work has begun.

9. Custom Order Changes

If you need to change information after submitting your request, contact MKKDeezigns as soon as possible.

Changes requested before design approval may be accommodated when possible.

Changes requested after design approval or after production begins are not guaranteed and may result in additional charges or additional processing time.

Significant changes to the original request may require a revised quote.

10. Customer-Supplied Images & Logos

Customers are responsible for providing usable, accurate, and sufficiently clear images, logos, photographs, and other materials required for their custom order.

Poor-quality or low-resolution files may affect the final appearance of the product.

If a submitted image is not suitable for production, MKKDeezigns may request a replacement before production begins.

Customers are also responsible for having the necessary rights or permission to use any photographs, logos, artwork, or other materials they submit for customization.

11. Handmade & Custom Product Variations

Because many MKKDeezigns products are individually produced, slight variations may occur between items.

Colors may also appear somewhat different in person than they do on a phone, tablet, computer monitor, or digital proof.

Minor variations that are normal to the production process are not considered defects.

12. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a custom order, contact MKKDeezigns immediately.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed once design work, materials purchasing, printing, personalization, production, or assembly has begun.

If work has already begun, any refund for which the order is otherwise eligible may be reduced by design costs, materials purchased, production expenses, or other costs already incurred specifically for the order.

13. Custom Order Returns & Refunds

Because personalized merchandise is created specifically for the customer and generally cannot be resold, custom and personalized items are final sale, except when an item is damaged, defective, or MKKDeezigns made an error in producing the approved order.

A change of mind, change of event plans, or customer-provided error does not generally qualify a custom product for a return or refund.

14. Shipping & Pickup

Processing time does not include shipping/transit time.

Customers who require shipping should allow additional time for carrier delivery after production has been completed.

Local pickup customers must wait until they receive confirmation that their order is ready.

Please do not arrive for pickup before receiving a ready-for-pickup notification or confirmation.

All outstanding balances must be paid before an order is released for pickup or shipment.

15. Agreement to Custom Order Terms

By paying a required deposit or otherwise authorizing MKKDeezigns to begin work on a custom order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the applicable custom-order requirements, pricing, design approval process, production timeframe, and policies.
